3rd place at the 2014 Colorado Motorcycle Expo

This is the first show we've been able to enter the "No Love" Sporty in and was very happy with the result. There were many killer builds in all of the sporty divisions and we were placed in the "Radical Custom" division. We rode away with a 3rd in a tough division in which I was told by the event promoter that the judges were working until 3am choosing and deciding. All in all not a bad start to show the great city of Denver what we can do here at LCC.

A lot of cleaning up of parts, powder coating and fixing some small things that have been bugging me that most people may not even see...but I can...haha.

Re wrapped the exhaust and powder coated the heat shield, powder coated the pegs & head light bucket.

Underside of pad detail.

Added three more coats of clear on tank & fender to freshen it up.

Close up of leather work on passenger pegs...a last minute idea i had to cover up some paint damage on other side where my wallet chain had beat it up. Not a bad band-aid in my opinion.

Rear fender and brass Chicago screws shinin' in the lights...

LASER ETCHING NOW AVAILABLE AT LCC

We are very stoked to announce that we have added Laser Etching to our services. We can etch & cut leather, wood, plastics, we can also etch glass & metals. This epilogue is made in Golden Colorado and creates very sharp detail and precision. The level of detail it will reproduce is amazing. Below are some of the first items we've done. A brand new saddle for the "No Love" Sporty, some keychains and signs.

Laser at work doing it's thing.

Finished, and ready for stain then cut for seat pan. notice the bottom of the piece, the laser was printing lines in the pinstripe graphics that I couldn't even see when blowing up the image to properly center. I had to enlarge the image to over 300% to finally see the lines to remove them.

All finished and ready to go on the bike.

Laser at work on some keychains

Finished key chains and they measure about 3" x 1.5" and the detail is amazing.

These are two signs I made for the Colorado Motorcycle Expo (aka CO swap meet) bike show for the "No Love" Sporty

Feel free to contact us about your items, rates and timeline on getting your items done here at LCC.

88' "Baggster" Build

So a guy stopped me one day last summer on my XS650 and was diggin' my jockey shifter on it and said he wanted one for his sporty. Well, a few months later just after we moved into out new shop he hit me up, brought his bike in and we were gonna do a foot clutch & jockey shifter, sissy bar and maybe some bars. Next thing I know we're doing a new fender, hard bags, new exhaust, custom bars, cutting out a bunch of his wiring and bulk on his handlebars, adding a push button start and adding a 12v outlet and a kill switch for his tail/ brake light. This build took a while and a first for LCC but in the end came out pretty bitchin in my opinion. This bike sounds so vicious and looks pretty baddass goin' down the road.

One-off jockey shifter & foot clutch, LCC powder coating.

We used a softail fender, narrowed it about an inch and made the filler pieces and welded them to fender, custom mount for tail light and custom mounts for bags.

Kill switch & 12v outlet on fillers, new seat.

Mocking up the new exhaust...

Finished bike- polished fork legs & chrome, polished front fender & tank, wrapped exhaust, custom bars powder coated, bags & fender gloss black.

Close up of paint and finish work...that's how we do it @ LCC!

Rollin' with my customer on his first ride on his new bike. My bike looking dirty w/ drag bars while i make some new ones for her.

Happy customer on NYE 2013-14.

My Personal 94' Sporty Custom

Below are pics of my current personal bike that has turned out to be an amazing bike both in looks and reliability. All design, fab, paint (except pinstriping) and gold leaf were done by LCC. We used the hardtail and rear fender from Bare Knuckle Choppers. This bike has been ridden very hard this summer and still on the road this winter and prob close to 10k miles since memorial day 2013. Had it at 100-105mph for a pretty long stretch coming back from the Beartooth Rally this summer and was smooth and silk. A handful of us were clocked later at 96 in a 75 for a $170 ticket....haha

Started pretty much stock minus the springer from another project.

New 2" under springer on, all chopped ready for hardtail and wheels sitting there ready to be torn down, painted and relaced.

Hard tail on, final measurements done and ready for welding.

I'ts rolling agian, wheels painted (rims/ hubs satin black, spokes gloss black, nipples chrome), new bars mocked, prelim fender cut, tank mocked.

One-off exhaust tacked, oil bag chopped, chain mocked, fender cut, seat mounted...

Complete during photo shoot (check out post on paint detail).
All pics below are from same photo shoot by David Humphrey

Gold leaf work, fuel sight on tank.

NEW SHOP AND LOCATION FOR LCC

Well the last year or so has been a wild ride for LCC...we're still alive and have turned out some of our best bikes yet. We moved into a new location in Denver and couldn't be happier. Our Paint Booth is installed, up and running and our new shop is filled with many new tools that will enable us to do so much more as well as a large Powder Coating oven in which we've also expanded our services to high quality powder coating. Some of the other tools we have access to now are, full metal shop with mill, lathe, c&c plasma router, plasma cutter, tig welder, large vertical band saws, laser epilogue, full wood shop with c&c wood router as well, english wheel, plainishing hammer, tube bender, press brakes and rollers...we also have access to a 3D printer for any prototype parts we want to do for large production. If you've checked out our blog before and wondered what the hell happened to us...well  I never realized how much effort it takes to do another shop move/ set up as well as to keep building bikes.
Check out the other posts coming up on the most recent builds out of LCC.
Cheers and thanks for checking us out...Mike aka "AXE"
